I have been a cosmetologist for 34 years and I have owned the salon for 23 years. Doing
hair is my passion, what a wonderful feeling it is to give clients a look that they have asked for.
I feel very blessed that I can go to my job everyday and love the work that I do.
I still get excited when I get to do a new service on a client for their 1st time.
I have been doing my favorite work for 45 years. I owned a salon for 14 years in Affton, Mo.
I have tried other jobs but always return to my first love, helping clients feel more beautiful. I enjoy Perms, color and haircutting. This is an everchanging field, I love all the latest technology and trends.

I remember being very young telling my mom I wanted to be a cosmetologist, I wanted people to feel beautiful on the inside and out. It didn't work out that way at first, I started a different career path then became a stay home wife and mother of two.
Once my children started school, I decided it was now time for me, I signed up and went to beauty school. What a wonderful career, and my dream had finally come true. I love getting to meet new clients and their families. I look forward to creating lifelong bonds with my clients.

I help take care of details that help the salon to run smoothly, I'm also the one that sends out birthday cards. The girls tease me, that I'm Donna's personal assistant.
